Music

I am a fan of all types of music, and I think my favorite thing about music is the way that it has about bringing people together.  I have never really been musically inclined.  As a very young child, I became good on the piano, but after I turned 7, I didn't take classes anymore and lost that talent.  I like how almost everyone likes music.  It can really bring people together in ways that other art can't quite seem to.  There is something about good music that makes people happy (usually) and creates a commonality that doesn't have to be "worked on" or tweaked at all.  When you go to a concert, there are thousand upon thousands of people there (in some venues), and they are all there for the same reason...that is a celebration of an art that transcends beyond the most boundaries.  I also feel that smaller, intimate venues promote a certain intimacy which also effects some of the fans in a different way from which a larger venue would.  I am not sure what my point was here, but I just had that to say...
